tented ~ $1-$2/ea
The classic choice, tented cards are folded to stand on their own and placed at each table setting. They can display just the guest’s name, or be expanded to include the table number and meal choice if needed.

flat tags ~ $1-$2/ea
A modern and trendy alternative, name tags can be applied directly onto favors, attached to menus, or styled with decorative elements at each place setting. They combine functionality with creativity and are perfect for couples looking for something fresh and non-traditional.
place cards vs name cards
ne of the most common questions we hear is: “What’s the difference between a place card and an escort card?”
- Escort cards direct guests to their assigned table.
- Place cards are set at each seat to indicate exactly where each guest will sit.
Depending on your setup, you may not need both — in fact, if you are already planning a seating chart, you might not need individual escort cards at all.
custom name cards
For couples who want something more distinctive, name cards can be designed to do much more than display a name. Many choose to incorporate the table number directly onto the card for efficiency, or indicate the meal choice with a small symbol or icon to assist catering staff.
Menus and name cards can also be combined into a single piece for a modern, streamlined presentation — with the guest’s name printed at the top of the menu or attached as a tag with ribbon, a wax seal, or another finishing detail. This approach eliminates the need for separate cards while creating a polished, cohesive look at each place setting.
Beyond functionality, custom name cards can feature specialty papers, foil or letterpress printing, layered vellums, or finishing touches like tassels, ribbons, or wax seals. They can also be styled to match your invitation suite, monogram, or tablescape aesthetic, ensuring a seamless design across all of your stationery.
