Name cards are used in 2 ways, as Escort cards and as Place cards. Escort cards normally are displayed close to the reception entrance; they have the guest name (or couple names) and table number, and are supposed to “escort” the guest to their table. Place cards are normally displayed at each table setting, with the guest name and sometime meal of choice, these are normally accompanied by a seating chart or seating arrangement to direct the guest to their table. Place cards are very useful with formal meals when meals of choice are required.

A seating chart is a way to visualize where people will sit in given room or during an event. A seating arrangement is almost always necessary for weddings over 50 guests. For smaller intimate weddings you may decide to have assigned seatings for the head table(s) and allow the rest of the guests to sit themselves. For larger weddings however a seating chart is required; you may decide to organize your seating chart by table (for small to medium weddings, up to a max of 18 to 20 tables) or alphabetically.
Our basic offering for seating chart include a digital file (flattened jpeg of pdf, not editable) for the specific design.
