Designed with Amore started back in 2011, while I was planning my own wedding. A little bit of a back story; I lived in Italy for most of my life, until I met my now husband on Twitter (yep, you read that right!). Fresh out of college, with 2 degrees in Architecture and Design, and just moved to a new country, looking for the perfect job, and now planning a wedding.
When it came time to choose our wedding invitations, and started scouting the internet for the perfect ones, nothing seemed to really strike me. I was not really surprised actually, I’ve always been a bit of a control freak and as a designer, I could not accept to choose from an album with a few dozens cookie-cutter designs. We obviously knew our love story better than anyone else, and we really wanted our guests to feel our love and experience a bit of what we had experienced. A custom design just made perfect sense.
Putting our love story into a little heirloom invitation for our guests, was the most challenging yet rewarding experience in my designer career, and I remember sitting on the couch sharing my morning coffee with the hubby and thinking how cool it would have been to be able to do that on a daily basis, for couples like us. And so Designed with Amore was born.
We have grown so much since then, we have seen so many trends come and go, experienced amazing weddings, all while connecting with some of the best wedding vendors in our area and all over the US. Since 2011 we have worked with over 7000 couples, shipped more than 10000 samples and loved every minute of it!
Our work has been featured on TheKnot, Wedding Chicks, Style me Pretty, Ruffled, 100 Layer cakes, Love and Lavender and so many more influencial wedding Blogs. TheBigFakeWedding also featured and highlighted our work in one of their latest events.
We proudly won Best of Weddings, a prestigious award by TheKnot for 6 years in a row, and are part of their exclusive Hall of Fame. WeddingWire also awarded us with Couples’ Choice Award for the past 6 years and we could not be more hunbled by that.
